Muscular Dystrophy Association is the #1 voluntary health organization in the United States for people living with muscular dystrophy, ALS, and related neuromuscular diseases. For over 70 years, MDA has led the way in accelerating research, advancing care, and advocating for the support of our families. MDA’s mission is to empower the people we serve to live longer, more independent lives.

We are excited to host the MDA Muscle Walk to bring our MDA community together to raise funds to further our mission. We are looking for a group of committed volunteers to assist MDA Staff with day of event logistics – walk route set up and clean up, registration, greeting attendees, photographer, activities and more. We are committed to ensuring that your volunteer experience is a rewarding one, while helping to fuel MDA’s mission. Join us for this rewarding event.

Timing: The volunteer commitment will be from 8:00am - 1:00pm.

Volunteer Requirements: This opportunity will require the ability to be outdoors, engage with MDA Families, Vendors and Sponsors with a positive and professional approach. For volunteers who wish to help with set-up/clean up, they will need the ability to lift >25lbs but this is not mandatory to participate in this volunteer opportunity.

Important COVID-19 Update: MDA strongly recommends, but will not require, that all volunteers be up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations.
