2024 KAtch for MDA!

Fishing Tournament & Crawfish Boil
APRIL 20, 2024!

KAtch Sign Up Form - sign up here!

The gentlemen of the Kappa Alpha Order are excited to be hosting KAtch again this year! KAtch is an exciting fishing tournament and crawfish boil that will take place on April 20. All the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Last year, the event raised $6,000 for MDA, and we hope to reach $10,000 this year! The tournament will start at Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings state park. It is a boat ramp on Orange Lake adjacent to cross creek and Lochloosa Lake. Following the activities on the lake, we will be holding a crawfish boil at the Kappa Alpha Mansion, along with an awards ceremony and raffle. If you have access to a boat or kayaks, we are asking our participants to bring it to the event to fish from. However, if one does not have access to a boat or kayaks there will be an awards bracket for onshore anglers. We also welcome all those not fishing to come and enjoy the boil! The breakdown of pricing and further event detail is listed in a section below.
