On July 25th five high-schoolers, from Eugene, Oregon, will be attempting to complete the challenge of the worlds first ever tri-marathon. The tri-marathon consists of a 26.2 mile run followed directly by a 26.2 mile bike ride and finished with a 26.2 mile row on a rowing machine. Our goal is to complete these three marathons in under 12.5 hours. We are attempting to raise $26,200 for the MDA.
Team member Stephen Kaelin has an older brother who was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in 2004. Since then he has gone on to graduate college with a degree in mathematics.
